Kevin L. Brown, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Brown adds his finance and accounting experience to the mission of Elysian Partners, LLC. Instrumental in creating our sizeable portfolio, Mr. Brown continues to guide the company through high growth. He is experienced in a broad array of asset types and all aspects of real estate, including acquisitions, due diligence, entitlement, construction and real estate management.
Mr. Brown is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. He has held a CPA license since 1985 and a Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker license since 1996. He is a member of AICPA.
Philip Markovitz, Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining EP, Mr. Markovitz was Senior Vice President
of Corporate Real Estate at Rite Aid Corporation from which
he retired in February 2000 after a successful 29 year career.
Under Mr. Markovitz, the Rite Aid Real Estate Department completed
an unprecedented retail expansion program.
For the past seven years he has been actively involved in all
phases of the development, management, leasing and disposition
of our commercial property portfolio.
Mr. Markovitz is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University
and Temple University Law School.
Loretta Ecker, CPM, Director of Property Management
Ms. Ecker is a licensed real estate salesperson with 27 years
of experience in retail, office, industrial, and residential
real estate management. As a Certified Property Manager, she
has met the Institute of Real Estate Management’s rigid requirements
in education, examination and experience. She oversees the daily
management of our properties, negotiates and approves contracts
for services, supervises on-site employees and contractors performing
maintenance and repairs, plans tenant fit-outs, administers
leases and lease renewals, manages accounts receivable for rent
and operating expense reimbursements, authorizes payables, and
completes operating budgets.
Ms. Ecker has an Associates Degree in Arts and Business Management
and completed undergraduate courses at Penn State Harrisburg,
Middletown, PA. Other professional designations: Accredited
On-site Manager, Institute of Real Estate Management (ARM);
Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), U. S. Department of Housing
& Urban Development.
